How to videos for parents and carers

How to … is a new series of videos that we've created to help parents better understand how key topics are taught in school, and what you can do at home to support what your child is learning at school.

how to support your child with phonics at home

Working with the team from Oxford Owl for School (our partner site that supports schools and teachers), this new series aims to help parents and teachers work even more closely to support children's learning. For each topic, we've created three types of video:

      1) animations - fun introductions to each topic
      2) parent videos - practical ideas for developing skills at home
      3) teacher videos - if you're also a primary school teacher, you can sign up to Oxford Owl for School and watch our teacher videos for free.

We would welcome your feedback on this new series - do fill in this quick survey if you have a few minutes to spare. Thank you!
